Part Time,Contract Preschool, Elementary, Middle, Secondary, and Special Education Teachers

The successful candidate

will have the following qualifications: university coursework in Inclusive Education to meet the needs of students with intellectual, physical, emotional and learning disabilities, i.e. diagnosis and remediation of reading and math difficulties and Level B testing;experience developing and implementing IEPs; the ability and energy to work with multi-age groups and meet the needs of students with a range of learning styles and abilities using a variety of teaching strategies; strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills to communicate with students, staff, and parents in a team oriented approach to teaching and learning; demonstrated ability to motivate students and adjust instructional strategies accordingly and to adapt curriculum to meet diverse student needs; knowledge and experience teaching the B.C.
