Job Description
Overview:
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is seeking an experienced and hardworking individual to joinour Animal Care team. This person will be responsible for the husbandry of Large Felines and other animal areas as assigned.Â
Responsibilities:
+ Safely feed, clean and preform daily husbandry of animals in Animal Care.Â
+ Give medication to animals as directed by Supervisor. Â
+ Record daily entries into logbook concerning animal care and behaviors.Â
+ Back up and or walk assigned animals around park ensuring animal and guest safetyÂ
+ Handle animals in and out of the park as needed.Â
+ Answer guestâs questions concerning animal care, diet, etc. and other general park information in a polite courteous and informative mannerÂ
+ Follow all department and park policies.Â
+ Assist other team members and Departments as needed.Â
+ Maintain equipment and enclosures as needed.Â
