Labourer – Resource Recovery Team
As a Labourer with the Resource Recovery team, you “Take care of Banff” in a cross‑functional role that performs sorting, collecting and handling residential, commercial and town‑site solid waste and recyclables. On any given day you are exposed to new and varying tasks, equipment and work locations, as well as diverse interactions with Town colleagues and Banff’s business owners, residents and visitors.
This safety‑sensitive position provides you with training and opportunities in the operation of equipment, tools, vehicles and containers, requiring you to apply knowledge, judgement and experience. You are keen and can assess the cleanliness, repair and maintenance needs of containers and the appropriate collection and/or sorting of miscellaneous items.
