Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Labourer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, cleanliness, and maintenance of YORK1 transfer station facilities. This role performs general labour duties including site clean‑up, waste and debris removal, grass cutting, grounds maintenance, and facility upkeep to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient operating environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with site operators and supervisors while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Site Clean‑Up & Maintenance
- Perform general housekeeping and clean‑up activities throughout the transfer station.
- Remove litter, debris, and waste materials from operating areas, roadways, and facility grounds.
