The Northern Lights Regional Health Centre’s laboratory operates 24/7, providing essential laboratory services within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. Under supervision and in consultation with the department Clinical supervisor or designate, the Laboratory Technologist I performs site-specific hematology, chemistry, transfusion medicine (manual and automated) procedures and related duties following established standards as defined by the Alberta College of Medical Laboratory Technologists (CMLTA), the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), and the Health Professions Act (HPA). APL offers a Fort McMurray Allowance to an annual maximum of $12,480, calculated on an hourly basis and paid per pay period for employer-paid hours at the Basic Rate of Pay, exclusive of overtime.
