Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory operations in designated areas and report any malfunction or abnormality.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous waste as defined in the Hazardous Waste Plan.
• Check equipment readiness for assigned test method, carry out QC test as needed and enter result in the SQC system.
• Homogenize sample and subdivide for various test benches.
• Carry out routine testing of assigned bench.
• Data entry of test results in datasheet or in VLIMS.
• Ensure all safety and health policies and test procedures are followed while carrying out test.
• Make request for solvent, chemical top‑up, retrieval of sample from storage through Sample Management System.
