Job Title : Laboratory Assistant II
Location: Morrisville, NC - 27560
Duration: 6 Months
Pay rate: $24/hr on W2
Job Responsibilities
- Receive, accession, and manage samples using laboratory information management system (LIMS) following CLIA regulations and Client policies
- Identify, sort, and organize samples from LIMS in preparation for downstream analysis by scientific staff
- Coordinate sample requests, manage confirmation of sample receipt, and resolve sample discrepancies with external vendors in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Prepare samples for archiving based on internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulations
- Maintain inventories of reagents and materials needed for internal projects to support the timely execution of lab work
