Job Description
Cozen O’Connor is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Labor & Employment Department in the Minneapolis office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience representing employers in a broad range of workplace matters. This role will involve defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, and disputes in both court and administrative proceedings. Experience with employee non-compete agreements and trade secrets, contract negotiations and severance discussions is preferred. Advising employers on compliance and best practices designed to prevent employment claims and reduce litigation risk is a plus. Candidates must demonstrate excellent writing and oral advocacy skills as well as the ability to perform appropriate tasks with minimal supervision. An active Minnesota license in good standing required.
