Job Description
The Neurodegenerative Diseases group is creating a new Lab Technician position.
Education and Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry or a related field; Master’s in Biomedical Sciences or a related field
- Specific training in laboratory research: animal experimentation, molecular biology techniques, and histology techniques
- Accredited for animal manipulation
- Business‑level English
Desired:
- Fluency in Catalan and in Spanish
Experience and Knowledge
Required:
- At least 2 years of experience working in the field of Neuroscience
- At least 2 years of experience working with animal models and knowledge of animal experimentation techniques (stereotaxic injection of AdenoAssociated Viral Vectors (AAV), behavioral tests)
