Job Description
Term: 6 months (renewable). Location: Tuas. Working hours: 5 days work week (8:30 am – 5:30 pm). Salary: Up to $2600.
Job Responsibilities- Perform daily analysis of internal and external samples, including urgent analysis requirements.
- Conduct daily calibration, standard preparation, analytical instrument tuning and performance monitoring, perform maintenance/troubleshooting when necessary, and keep track of parts and consumables.
- Prepare and/or update SOPs for existing and newly developed analytical methods.
- Manage chemical inventory and waste disposal.
- Perform any other tasks given by the Lab Manager.
- ITE / Diploma in Chemistry or a related chemical discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry and GC FID/TCD operation.
- Knowledge of COA, IQC, and FQC.
