Lab Analyst

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Lab Analyst to join our analytical laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing samples, report preparation, equipment and laboratory maintenance to support commercial and R & D operations including some laboratory-based experiments to support the development of hydrometallurgical processes. This position requires a strong understanding of chemistry, metallurgy, and laboratory techniques, as well as an ability to analyze and interpret complex data to contribute to successful operations.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare and analyze samples from daily operations ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meters, spectrometers, leach columns, atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), inductively coupled plasma (ICP), Carbon sulfur (CS), XRF, TGA, particle size analyzer and filtra...
