Job Description

The role:

  • Supporting the Kitchen Manager and leading the kitchen operation in their absence

  • Preparing and overseeing breakfast, lunch, evening meal and wood-fired pizza services

  • Preparing and cooking fresh food to a consistently high standard

  • Maintaining excellent standards of food quality, presentation and cleanliness

  • Supporting stock control, ordering and stock rotation processes

  • Assisting with food cost control and minimising waste

  • Supervising and supporting kitchen assistants and junior team members

  • Assisting with training and development of apprentices, students and trainees

  • Working closely with the Front of House team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

  • Ensuring compliance with food hygiene, allergen and health & safety regulations
