Job Description
Main Responsibilities
Food Preparation
- Assist chefs in basic food preparation duties
- Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients
- Prepare simple dishes and mise en place as assigned
Kitchen Operations
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies
- Ensure ingredients are properly labelled and stored
- Support chefs during service operations
Cleaning & Hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations
- Wash kitchen utensils, dishes, and cooking equipment
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and workplace safety standards
Inventory Support
- Assist in stock arrangement and stock rotation
- Report low stock items to supervisors or chefs
Team Support
- Support kitchen team in daily operations
