Job Description
Join our team as a Community Activity Worker in Kelowna, where you will enhance the lives of clients through recreation and social activities. This part-time role spans day shifts Wednesday to Saturday.
We are looking for a dedicated Community Activity Worker committed to improving clients’ well-being. In this role, you will implement activities, support independence, and engage clients to partake in various life-enhancing experiences. Your hands-on approach will help cultivate a positive and inclusive atmosphere in our Adult Day Programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate recreational activities tailored to client needs
• Support clients with daily living and promote independence
• Create a welcoming and engaging environment
• Adapt activities based on individual requirements
• Collaborate with the team to optimize client care
Requirements:
• Graduate from an Activity/Recreation program or equivalent experience
• Minimum one year in Adult Day Programs
