Take charge of safety practices at KDM Constructors' BHP Mine Site in Jansen, SK. This role emphasizes training, compliance, and leadership in a camp-based environment.
As a Safety Advisor, you will play an essential role reporting directly to the Corporate Safety Manager. Your experience with safety legislation will ensure all site employees adhere to the highest safety standards. This position features a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, and requires strong critical thinking and communication skills to effectively manage safety processes and training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all safety initiatives for site employees
• Develop and review project-specific safety plans
• Oversee hazard identification and risk management
• Conduct workplace inspections and audits regularly
• Facilitate incident investigations and reporting
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of safety experience
• CSO/NCSO certification required
• Strong skills in planning and organizing
