Job Description — KDB+/q Developer (Senior)
Hands‑on KDB+/q developer role focused on building and maintaining real‑time and historical data applications. Work closely with traders, quants and global stakeholders to deliver reliable, high‑performance code and provide L3 production support.
Key responsibilities- Write concise, high‑performance q code for real‑time ingestion, processing, aggregation and historical queries.
- Implement and maintain KDB+ time‑series schemas, partitions and data pipelines.
- Integrate market data feeds across equities, futures, options and FX; implement data quality checks.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and provide L3 support.
- Collaborate with business and quant teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD, testing, and deployment automation; follow SDLC and agile practices.
