Job Description
We're on the hunt for a Junior Technician - Electrical on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.
Role
This is a continuing education level position. The role may require supervision of more experienced technicians or technical staff to perform simple test bench assembly, modification or validation tasks. The role may also be required to perform tests on simple electronic assemblies, passive or active telecommunications equipment, and chamber monitoring on more complex equipment. The technician must demonstrate initiative and progress within routine tasks with well-defined boundaries.
Tasks
- Align and test simple production equipment according to well-defined procedures or other guidelines. Record test results.
- Assist in setting up, modifying, and checking test stands for equipment of simple complexity.
