About the role
We are currently seeking a Systems Pricing/Underwriting Programmer Analyst for our Digital Actuarial / Digital Underwriting – Commercial Insurance Systems team. This role will be essential in supporting our growth. The position is open in Montréal (2020 Robert-Bourassa), Laval, or Toronto. An in-office presence is required 2 days per week. This person will report directly to the Director, Actuarial – Underwriting Analytics, Commercial Insurance.
What you'll do here
- Improve and/or develop algorithms and tables related to pricing and underwriting practices to meet user needs, including programming, testing, debugging, and documenting changes.
- Participate in all stages of projects to ensure completion, working with users, providing guidance, meeting deadlines, and communicating status reports.
- Ensure systems are optimal and meet business standards by conducting analyses, making suggestions, and developing assessments.
