Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance/help to Immediate Superiors for the achievement of Quality objectives.
- Understanding of core Internet protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, POP3 etc.).
- Experience of supporting some or all of the following web technologies: Apache; IIS; JBoss/J2EE Application Servers; MySQL.
- VMware/virtualization technologies.
- An understanding of load balancing technologies.
- An understanding of server Virtualisation technologies.
- Performance tuning of systems: system, network and applications.
- Technical writing skills for documenting environments and procedures.
- Netapp NAS technology.
- Working experience with intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with software and security architecture.
- Knowledge in supporting ORACLE ERP R13.
- Ensures information regarding system downtime/problem/resolutions done are properly disseminated...
