We are hiring: Junior Rock Engineer / Strata Control Officer
Northern Cape | Permanent
Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Assist the Senior Rock Engineer with geotechnical investigations, slope stability analyses, and ground control monitoring. Conduct strata control inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations related to ground conditions. Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of rock engineering controls in line with legal and company standards. Prepare and maintain Codes of Practice (COPs), procedures, and technical reports. Contribute to blasting assessments, excavation design, and continuous improvement initiatives for ground stability. Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality (SHERQ) systems. Minimum Requirements BSc / BTech / National Diploma in Rock Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Geology.
