The Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is seeking two Junior Group Leader positions, one in AI and Data Science for Bioengineering (UB) and one in Translational Pediatric Bioengineering (HSJD). These tenure‑eligible roles aim to advance IBEC’s strategy of excellent science, internationalisation, translation, and talent development.
Responsibilities
- Develop an ambitious research programme in the chosen focus area.
- Establish and lead a research group, securing and coordinating competitive grant funding as Principal Investigator.
- Contribute to IBEC’s strategic goals through international collaboration and translation of research.
- For the UB position, provide part‑time teaching at the UB School of Medicine and engage students in research activities.
