Join SSR Mining as a Junior Geological Technician focused on resource development and geological fieldwork in Saskatchewan. Enhance production decisions through mapping and geotechnical interpretation.
This role supports both Engineering and Mine Operations teams under the Resource Development department. Combine your geological expertise with strong communication skills to aid in interpreting geological data while maintaining safety standards. Team collaboration will be key in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct chip, channel, and muck sampling for grade control
• Participate in geological mapping and specialized projects
• Assist in logging diamond drill core for accuracy
• Monitor drilling progress and ensure geological accuracy
• Support daily and weekly geological report generation
