Job Description
Skills required:
- 1-2 years post qualification experience (preferably machine shop exposure)
- Certificate in Draughting
- Relevant National Diploma, N5/N6 certification, or degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with plate work design for underground mining machines, R&D projects
- Fusion 360 or SolidWorks
- Must have a good understanding of tolerances and be able to read drawings
- Creating Drawings
- Setting Measurements
- Applying Tolerances
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Generate mechanical designs to relay inforomation to fabrication and machine shops
