Job Description
Junior Customs Broker
The Junior Customs Broker is responsible for preparing, processing, and reviewing import documentation in compliance with customs regulations. This role requires a solid understanding of customs procedures, the ability to handle more complex entries, and active support of junior staff (Trainee). The position plays a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and accurate financial processing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Customs Documentation & Processing
- Prepare and process import-type SAD500 entries, including but not limited to:
- A11-00
- A11-20
- A11-40
- E40-00
- Conduct advanced checks on permits, certificates, and rebate documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage the processing of Vouchers of Correction (VOCs), Standard VOCs, receive training on processing refund applications.
