Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with archaeological field work and reporting under current provincial and professional requirements.
- Assist with archaeological walkovers (field walking at specified intervals to identify archaeological resources or evaluate archaeological resource potential).
- Assist with test pit surveys and hand excavation of test pits along specified intervals to identify archaeological resources.
- Assist with hand excavation of archaeological test units.
- Assist with staking out archaeological grids, recording and interpreting soil stratigraphy and archaeological features.
- Assist with in‑field artifact identification and office‑based artifact cataloguing.
