The role is Journeyman, Substations, responsible for installing and maintaining overhead, underground, transmission, and distribution systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform line maintenance in a safe efficient manner using de-energized, live line hot stick or live line barehand techniques on voltages up to and including 500â¯kV.
- Operate heavy and tracked equipment including radial arm diggers, line trucks, cranes, and all terrain equipment (Foremost) as required.
- Operate and maintain hand tools such as blocks, grips, jacks, hot line tools, and cover up.
