Job Description
Elevate your career as a Structural Ironworker Journeyperson at the Suncor Firebag site in Alberta. This role involves erecting steel components and installing heavy equipment while working a straight-through schedule.
Jardeg is seeking experienced Structural Ironworker Journeypersons to support the Heartland Constructors maintenance team. This position requires a 6-on, 1-off shift pattern for 12 hours each day, from now until August 31, 2026. On-site camp accommodations and travel arrangements from Calgary or Edmonton are included.
Key Responsibilities:
• Erect structural steel and install conveyors and robotic equipment
• Assemble rigging to move heavy equipment and materials
• Check alignments and joint steel parts using electric arc process
Requirements:
• CSO and various safety certifications are mandatory
• Valid Full Class 5 Driver’s License with 3-year abstract
