Job Description
Join Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. as a Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter at our Mill Site. Engage in the layout, fabrication, and repair of critical piping systems.
This role seeks an experienced Journeyperson to handle piping system maintenance, assembly, and repairs within Al-Pac's mill operations. Candidates should have 5-7 years of relevant experience, strong skills in interpreting technical drawings, and adherence to safety standards in a manufacturing environment. Work will include both indoor and outdoor tasks requiring physical stamina.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform steam-pipefitter maintenance and repairs independently
• Fabricate new piping runs following regulatory specifications
• Interpret Isometric drawings for accurate installations
• Maintain manual valves and replace gasketing materials
• Complete safety documentation and hazard assessments
