Job Description
Take your skills to the next level as a Journeyman Millwright at Weyerhaeuser’s Drayton Valley sawmill. Enjoy a competitive starting rate of $50.50/hr and relocation assistance.
This full-time role requires a commitment to safety and teamwork. You’ll perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on complex machinery while collaborating with electricians and welders. In addition to mechanical repairs, you'll interpret blueprints and work on capital projects that enhance operational efficiency and safety at the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment
• Collaborate with a diverse maintenance team
• Read and construct from blueprints for mill equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
• Manage installations and upgrades of machinery
Requirements:
• Millwright Journeyman Certification is mandatory
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• High school diploma or GED required
