Join CEDA's premier shop in Fort McMurray as a Heavy Equipment Technician specializing in diesel engines and maintenance. Enjoy full-time work with a supportive team and excellent equipment.
In this role, you'll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles including Hydrovacs, tractors, and trailers. You will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and inspections, all within a clean and organized shop environment. Choose between flexible 7×7 or 14×14 shifts while contributing to a culture focused on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventative maintenance on Hydrovacs and water trucks
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including Cummins and CAT
• Perform inspections and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Interpret work orders accurately and maintain paperwork
• Collaborate with apprentices and uphold safety standards
