Job Description
Transform children's reading experiences with Foundations Learning & Skills in Regina, Saskatchewan. Become a Spark volunteer and provide essential one-on-one reading guidance.
As a volunteer for the Spark program, Foundations Learning & Skills offers a chance to positively influence students' literacy skills. You will undergo 3.5 hours of training and connect with two students for personalized reading sessions over 8 weeks, meeting twice a week on school premises.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enhance children's reading abilities through tailored support
• Participate in training focused on reading strategies
• Schedule consistent 30-minute sessions with students
• Align volunteer work with agency orientation
