What you will do
The JIT Sr Buyer will develop suppliers and intercompany plants (feeders), execute savings projects, ensure assignment of an adequate supplier for each purchased item, and support expediting processes to supply direct material on time, minimizing inventory stock‑outs or revenue impact. They may also support quality escalations, ISO requirements, internal projects, and engineering changes related to purchased items.
How you will do it
- Analyze MRP demand and replenish stocks timely.
- Place Purchase Orders (POs) on time to suppliers and feeder plants.
- Obtain confirmation dates or estimated time of arrivals (ETA) for all POs.
- Ensure correct receipt in SAP ERP system.
- Attend Daily Production Meetings and execute exception messages regularly.
