Job Description
I am partnered with a global, technology-driven financial services firm that operates at the forefront of electronic trading. We are looking for a Java Developer to help build and optimise the systems that power real-time trading across international markets.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain proprietary, low-latency systems and algorithms.
Day-to-day:
- Improving the performance, scalability, and reliability of existing systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement new solutions
- Developing tools for analysis, monitoring, and risk management
A little bit about you:
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Ability to design and build highly optimised, scalable systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to take initiative early
