About the show
Jack and the Beanstalk is a traditional British pantomime with a modern Albertan twist. This production features 20+ hits from the 1950’s to present day, played live by a cast of actor/musicians. We would love to hear from actors who are intermediate level or above on one, or more, of the following instruments:
- Guitar – lead/rhythm
- Bass guitar
- Keyboard/piano
- Drums/percussion
- Trumpet
- Trombone
- Saxophone – alto/tenor/baritone
Rate: CAEA DOT-1 Policy.

Rehearsals begin: Nov 5th 2026. Previews begin: Nov 29th 2026. Opening: Dec 2nd 2026. Final performance Dec 20th 2026 (possible extension to the 23rd). Venue: Edmonton, AB.
