Job Description

SOSi is seeking an Italian Instructor in Northern Virginia. In this role you will provide language instruction in a professional environment with responsibility for lesson planning, delivery, and assessment of learning. Strong inter-personal and communications skills are a must to supportively engage with adult students.

Essential Job Duties

• Deliver instruction to students ranging on a starting level from 0 to 3 to raise their proficiency level on the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR).
• Execute the full cycle of lesson development/planning, instruction, and student assessment.
• Develop lesson plans for appropriate for beginners, intermediate, and advanced classes.
• Facilitate classes focused on real-world scenarios (including practical knowledge of applicable culture, history, politics, and economy) to develop student's skills in speaking, listening, and reading for both social and professional ...
