Job Description
- Supporting and servicing of Bank's request for hands-on engineering function at Bank's Datacenters.
- Troubleshooting any hardware related issues.
- Installation of related software as per required for Microsoft, VMware for hypervisor layer. On-siteand on-the-job training can be pickup and learned as the RE progresses into his job functions. The RE is not limited to above software, if he's a keen worker, he can learn and install related software such as Red Hat, Chef, Veritas as per X86 Cloud RFP software stack.
- Installation and configuration of servers, KVM switches and cabling work.
- Server decommissioning and upgrade activities.
- Patching of latest software updates as required
