IT Project Manager Mainframe (COBOL/z/OS) - Full-time - 3 days Onsite Zurich - Start July 2026
For our client, we are looking for an experienced IT project manager with experience in mainframe transformation projects as well as knowledge of the COBOL/z/OS environment. The main task is to lead a transformation project to migrate a large mainframe application from CA Gen to native COBOL and to introduce GitLab as a new code repository.
Responsibilities
- Management and coordination of all workstreams and deliverables
- Creation of the project management plan and definition of the project scope
- Stakeholder management and coordination of all project participants
- Project planning, progress control and status reporting
- Support for test, go-live and operational readiness topics
