Job Description
What you will be doing:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance Azure-based data architectures aligned to enterprise and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and govern conceptual, logical, and physical data models across multiple business domains.
- Lead data modernisation initiatives, including migration from legacy systems to cloud-native data platforms.
- Architect and maintain data solutions using Azure services such as Azure SQL, Synapse, Cosmos DB, Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, and Dataverse.
- Define and enforce enterprise data governance standards, including data lifecycle management, metadata management, and lineage tracking.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as POPIA and GDPR, as well as internal governance and security standards.
