Position: IT Associate
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitors card transactions 24/7 in real time and ensures the bank’s approval rate is maintained at an acceptable level within industry average.
- Assists and resolves customer issues on card transactions.
- Coordinates with clients, acquiring banks and merchants through all possible channels to process authorization requests, validate transaction information and to confirm or cancel authorizations as long as within the bank’s policies/guidelines.
- Informs, educates and advises the clients how to resolve declined transactions if the reason for the decline is beyond the control of the bank.
- Alerts the concerned unit if there are monitored interruptions in the system which may impact processing of transactions.
