This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring stock integrity across operations. The Inventory Control Specialist will perform routine cycle counts, track inbound and outbound materials, and update inventory systems to reflect real-time stock levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include receiving and inspecting incoming materials, verifying shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, and logging inventory into internal systems. The position requires frequent auditing of stock, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with internal teams such as purchasing, warehouse, and sales to resolve issues. The role also involves monitoring inventory trends, flagging shortages or overstock situations, and preparing reports for management. Maintaining organized storage systems and adhering to company procedures and safety standards are critical to success.
