Job Description

About this position

Within the Quantum Technology department, we are working on developing quantum computation, quantum sensing and quantum communication. In this position you will be working on a project that develops demonstrators for spin-qubit computation devices. The team consists of specialists in the fields of design, fabrication, modelling and measurement of spin qubit systems. In this position you will work on both the modelling and measurement with a focus on the readout of the qubits. What will be your role?

Within the project you will perform simulations and measurements on spin-qubit devices. You will focus on the concept of correlated double sensing (CDS). This technique can be used to reduce 1/f noise in measurements. However, for spin-qubit systems the margin for improvement is small since we have additional long-term information on the noise behavior. You will create a model for noise and compensation techniques and then validate the mode...
