Internship - AI/ML-Based Finite Element Analysis

The student will be part of the package simulation team. The simulation team uses physics-based simulation software such as Ansys WB and LS-DYNA. There have been numerous sets of simulation result generated from the past work. These sets of data could be useful to assess new design geometry with suitable AI/ML-based finite element software with much reduced compute resource. The student's role is to evaluate / compare several such AI/ML-based finite element software and provide a comprehensive evaluation report.

Your Role

• Conduct finite element analysis using Ansys / LS-DYNA
• Analyze and consolidate finite element result for AI/ML model training
• Develop script to read essential information from finite element analysis file and output to another file readable by the AI/ML model
• Evaluate and compare different AI/ML-based finite element models
