Responsibilities

Under direct supervision of the Chief of Mission and in close coordination with the Department of the Regional Media and Communication Officer (RMCO) and with other IOM units, the Intern - Communications will be responsible for assisting in administrative tasks related to the implementation of IOM Chile communications, highlighting visibility and seeking understanding of the IOM mission among Media and general audience across the spectrum of the Organization’s programmes.

• Assist in designing simple information, education, and communication materials, especially those related to the protection and rights of migrant workers.
• Support in creating, updating, and organizing content for IOM Chile’s website and social media channels, including capturing and editing photos and videos and preparing basic multimedia materials to strengthen the Mission’s digital presence and overall visibility.
