Hatch is seeking a suitably qualified Civil Engineer or Engineering Geologist with specialist skills in tailings management. This newly created role suits an intermediate professional with a strong technical focus, who is interested in growing with a newly created regional business and looking for a role where they can contribute to solving our African clients’ most difficult mine waste management projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribution to business development and marketing to existing and new Hatch clients in the mining sector, preparation of expressions of interest and contribution to proposals.
• Developing engineering work packages and tasks for junior engineers and designers.
• Supervising junior engineers and designers, including checking accuracy and quality of the work produced.
