Job Description
Join IMP Aerospace & Defence as an Intermediate Buyer, focusing on effective procurement and vendor relationships. Partner with teams to drive cost-efficient sourcing and uphold quality standards.
This position, reporting to the Aerospace Procurement Manager, is integral to our procurement team. You’ll manage sourcing, RFQ preparation, and purchase orders by applying best supply chain practices. Key qualifications include experience in aerospace procurement and an understanding of MRP systems like JD Edwards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source parts and materials from established vendors
• Implement commodity strategies for cost and quality
• Prepare RFQs and negotiate supplier pricing
• Manage purchase orders in the MRP system
• Develop supplier relationships for internal compliance
Requirements:
• 4 to 7 years of supply chain experience
• Post-secondary education preferred
• Familiarity with JD Edwards is an asset
