Intermediate Accountant (12‑month contract) – Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)
Overview
Responsible for enhancing the transparency and insight of the Real Estate Management Service (REMS) financial reporting to enable upper management and internal clients to make informed business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Full cycle monthly financial reporting and quarterly forecasts for several business lines.
- Perform corporate accounting functions: monthly revenue and expense accruals, journal entries, P&L review, AR review, account reconciliations, preparation of supporting working papers.
- Ensure client billing aligns with management agreements and review billing batches.
- Communicate with Regional Leads during forecasts and budgets for new business assumptions, update working papers, budget system and feedback reports.
