Summary About the Position: Works under the general supervision of the Chief, Technical Support Section who provides guidance to the scope and objectives of assignments. Supervisor is available for consultation on unique and complex interpretations of policy. Responsibilities Keeps project delivery team informed on the development of navigation projects and programs. Negotiates agreements with external agencies where there are conflicting interests and opinions on environmental issues affecting navigation projects and programs. Prepares and presents effective project presentations and assures there is a sound technical and environmental basis for the proposed work. Approves contractor breakdowns, progress measurement data, and field inspection reports. Conducts site and construction inspections of navigation projects to ensure adherence to the contract plans and specifications.
