Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is with the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, Assistant Chief of Staff, G-3, Army Geospatial-Intelligence Office located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Responsibilities Develop intelligence policies, plans, and guidance that impact Army Geospatial-Intelligence (GEOINT) globally. Evaluate GEOINT plans and policies to support current and future operations. Oversee preparation and dissemination of strategic GEOINT communications. Monitor the development of tradecraft techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of Army GEOINT.
