Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25.This position is with the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, Mission Support, Assistant Chief of Staff, at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Responsibilities Perform investigations and analysis of a wide variety of DoD system initiatives. Monitor assigned system development activities and determine technical and operational specifications are met. Make authoritative determinations and advise on technical problems/issues. Maintain an intricate network of contacts with the Department of War (DoW), national agencies, and DoW contractors.
