We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse for the position of Mental Health Intake Clinician. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person who is looking for a challenging and stimulating role.

As an Intake Clinician your responsibilities will include:

• The clinical assessment of potential patients who will often present in crisis
• Liaising with external referrers, internal Psychiatrists and Nurse Unit Managers in order to facilitate admission for patients who require acute inpatient mental health care
• You would provide advice and redirection to referrers, patients and their carers for people who cannot safely be cared for in our hospital or do not meet our admission criteria
